Brandywine river museum of art

On display at the Brandywine River Museum of Art, the Witness to History exhibition explores a historic turning point in the civil rights movement—the 1965 Selma to Montgomery, Alabama march—that led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act. This exhibition presents 55 of the photographs taken at the march by 24-year-old student Stephen Somerstein, accompanied by his commentary of the day's events. We worked with the Brandywine River Museum of Art to create the introduction and narrative panels, video wall, and labels throughout the exhibition.
